If you’ve recently registered a new domain name or set up a new website then one of the first things you’re likely to want to do is point your domain name at your website. Until you do, anyone typing your domain name into their browser will see whatever your domain registrar chooses to show them.

In this easy-to-follow guide I’ll show you how to point your domain name at your website.

Step 1: Go to the Cloudways login screen

Your domain name is now posted at your hosting but be aware that it can take up to 48 hours (though in my experience it is usually significantly less) before everything starts working.
